  • On booking of Hackerspace for events

    • Here's the general consensus

      • External parties need to be endorsed by at least one paying Hacker

      • With the endorsement, they can approach the Calendar / Events Masters to book a slot, on a first-come-first-served basis, at least one week in advance.

      • Calendar / Events Masters to mark the requested slot on the public HackerspaceSG Events Calendar (not created yet)

      • Community has lead time of one week to raise violent objects to the Calendar / Event Masters

      • Should number of violent objections reach a Threshold, the Calendar / Event Masters will reject the event.

    • Others

      • Calendar / Events Masters can reserve one event-less day a week to be kept just for hacking

    • To be decided

      • What is the Rejection Threshold?

      • How  are violent objections raised?

      • Should there be a minimum of days before the scheduled date of an event when the event is "golden" and cannot be rejected?

  • On corporate sponsorship

    • (Pending clarification of legal issues surrounding the acceptance of sponsorship)

    • The Hackerspace can accept sponsorship from corporate sponsors

    • The Hackerspace will acknowledge the sponsorship, perhaps through a mention on the blog, or similar.

    • Sponsorship does not confer voting or management rights.

    • Donations / Sponsorship
